I wanted to take a minute to reflect on my relationship with you and the Inner Circle Foundation (ICF) as you are preparing for yet another awesome fundraising event this year!
You were one of my first calls after I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I knew that you and your experience would help me with the "reality" of the process. I also felt confident I could get through this after watching you manage your cancer for so many years. The information and guidance you were able to give me was so helpful. The first few days after diagnosis is difficult simply because there are so many questions. One of the ways ICF was able to help was your chemo starter kit (sorry, I'm sure there is a better name for it).

I remember the toothpaste, mouthwash and even the cap so my head wouldn't get cold at night after the hair loss. ICF also provided me with a heavy-duty air filter so that I could keep my home environment "chemo friendly".
I had a concerning situation when my insurance company scheduled my surgery prior to chemo. It was your connection that gave me advice that I believe kept my cancer from progressing from Stage 3 to Stage 4. Once I met with the oncologist, and the chemo was started, she told me it was a good thing we got the chemo started immediately.
I am healthy and happy and enjoying life! I will always be so grateful to you and the Inner Circle Foundation for your help!
