Inner Circle Foundation (ICF) is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization founded by Melanie Best. Our mission is to provide support for people with rare/aggressive cancers, survivors, and their caregivers in order to improve their quality of life.

Meet the Board
Melanie Best is an interior designer. She currently is a Senior Designer for Shea Homes. After realizing the need for support for patients and caregivers dealing with rare and/or aggressive cancers, she decided to start Inner Circle Foundation to provide assistance to those that reside in Colorado.

Katie is a mother of twins, who fought hard to one day be called mom. During her fight to become a mom, at times she felt alone. Helping people fighting a different battle and assisting their loved ones to not feel alone, is her passion. Her goal in life is to show her kids that the world is full of good people. “If you can’t find on; be one!”

Pamela Best retired from Johns Manville where she was a project manager and corporate trainer. She has been with Inner Circle Foundation since its beginnings in order to help families that have been affected by rare and aggressive cancers.

Brenna is a Community Manager at Regus Management Group. Brenna joined ICF to be part of something that makes a difference. Being able to make a difference in the lives of people suffering from rare cancers and their families and be surrounded by caring, giving and strong women has been an honor.

Sally serves as Director of Design for Shea Homes. Having lost both her parents at an early age to cancer and seeing the struggles of special people in her life dealing with rare and aggressive cancer, she is committed to helping. ICF gives her a way to give back, support & encourage others while hopefully making the road a bit easier.

Kim has been involved with ICF since its inception in 2013. She was inspired by her best friend, a cancer survivor. As a bedside nurse, Kim has dedicated her career to caring for others living with chronic illness. However, she loves the specialized, personal approach ICF takes to make each client feel not only supported but understood.

Lindsay is the Operations and Circulation manager for Colorado Community Media. She joined Inner Circle Foundation to be a part of something meaningful and be a part of a great team of passionate women, focused on enhancing the lives of those affected by rare and
aggressive cancers.
